Acceptance of Terms
By registering for membership with The 11+ English Club ("the Club"), you agree to abide by these terms and conditions ("Terms") and any amendments made to them.
1. Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals who are preparing for their 11+ or entrance school exams. Membership is not transferable.
Membership must not be used by tutors, educators, or educational institutions for commercial purposes.
2. Membership Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer or device.
3. Membership Fees
Membership fees are non-refundable and are subject to change with prior notice. Failure to pay membership fees may result in suspension or termination of your membership.
In the case of any refunds, a 10% administrative fee will apply to cover any charges we incur.
4. Membership Benefits
As a member of The 11+ English Club, you will have access to exclusive resources, tutorials, and support materials aimed at assisting with 11+ English preparation.
5. Use of Club Materials
All materials provided by the Club are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, or use the materials for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the Club.
6. Code of Conduct
Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner when interacting with other members, instructors, and staff of the Club. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or abusive language, may result in immediate termination of membership.
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided by the Club, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of the Club and is protected by copyright laws. Unauthorised use of the Club’s intellectual property may result in legal action.
8. Recording of Online Tuition Sessions
Online tuition sessions are delivered via Zoom and may be recorded for educational and revision purposes. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you consent to the recording of Zoom sessions in which your child participates.
Recordings are uploaded securely to the online dashboard and are accessible to Club Members only. They are not shared with any third party and are not used for marketing or promotional purposes.
All recordings are stored securely and handled in line with data protection and safeguarding responsibilities. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by notifying me in writing, although access to recorded sessions for revision may then be unavailable.
9. Privacy Policy
The Club respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Termination of Membership
All members have access to their billing information and may cancel their membership at any time. Members will retain access to the Club until the date of their next payment.
Members are responsible for managing their own memberships and should plan payments and access accordingly, particularly in line with exam deadlines.
The Club reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership at any time, with or without cause and without prior notice. Upon termination, access to all membership benefits and materials will be withdrawn.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Club makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the materials provided. Use of the materials is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Club be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with membership or use of the Club’s materials.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
14. Amendments to Terms
The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect immediately upon posting on the Club’s website. Continued use of the Club’s services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
By registering for membership with The 11+ English Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register for membership or use the Club’s services.
