Who Is This For?
This programme is designed for children in Years 4 and 5 preparing for 11+ English exams at UK grammar schools or independent schools. It's particularly well-suited to children who:

Do sessions take place in-person or online?
All lessons are held on Zoom. You will be sent calendar invites for each lesson.

Does my child need support with both comprehension and creative writing, or can we focus on one?
Absolutely, we can focus on whichever area your child needs most. Some children come to me with strong ideas but weaker comprehension skills; others are confident readers but struggle to express themselves in writing. We'll assess your child's needs at the start and build the programme accordingly.

How quickly will I see progress?
Most parents notice a real difference within four to six weeks. This often looks like confidence in producing more structured writing, and more accurate comprehension answers. Of course, the pace of progress depends on how often your child attends and how consistently they complete their homework.

What exam board does this cover?
We cover all exam boards and the programme is tailored to your child's specific exam requirements whether that's grammar or an independent school's own paper. I work with you to make sure we're preparing for the right things.
